“I am honored to work with entrepreneurial clients that are positively impacting our communities, whether they are a developer of a high-profile mixed-use real estate project or a restaurant operator of a fledgling concept. My clients deserve the highest level of legal acumen and business sense. To that end, I truly appreciate the significance of the role in which my clients have entrusted me.”
Rory practices in the area of commercial real estate, with an emphasis on the representation of national real estate developers and other property owners in the acquisition, development, financing, construction, leasing, management and disposition of retail, office, multi-family, hospitality and mixed-use projects throughout the country.
Rory brings more than book smarts to his commercial real estate practice. A veteran of numerous high-profile retail and mixed-use commercial real estate developments, he has a practical business background and appreciation for getting deals done in the best and most efficient way possible for all involved. It’s one thing to simply identify roadblocks that might stall or kill a deal. Informed by his business background and experience, he is able to provide real solutions that keep parties talking and projects on track.
Rory is proud of the fact that the firm offers “big-firm” quality legal work in a smaller and more dynamic firm environment. This allows Rory to represent institutional-grade and entrepreneurial-minded clients a like, and continue to diversify his client base, while providing very competitive pricing relative to other “big-firm” attorneys.
Rory began his legal career at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and subsequently, Baker Botts. He joined Condon Tobin Sladek Thornton PLLC as an associate in January 2007 and became a member of the firm in January 2013.
Rory was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in Dallas.
He is married and has three daughters and currently resides in University Park.
