Brian’s practice focuses on acquisition, development, leasing and finance of commercial real estate throughout Texas and the United States. Brian works on a wide variety of commercial real estate projects, with particular expertise in retail, multifamily and healthcare properties. On the finance side, Brian advises borrowers and lenders in transactions involving complex domestic and international financings, including syndicated loans, asset-based financings, acquisition financings, first lien/second lien real estate financings, complex intercreditor arrangements, project financings, loan workouts and debt restructurings. Brian also has experience negotiating complex equity documents including limited partnership agreements, limited liability company agreements and private equity placements.

Brian earned his B.S. in business administration from Washington & Lee University and his law degree, cum laude, from the SMU Dedman School of Law.
